How to Change Your Volunteer Role

On volunteer.give.asia, your suggested volunteer role is based on your quiz responses and interests at that point in time. As your interests, availability, or preferences change, your role can change too.

Your suggested role is meant to guide you — it does not limit what you can do. You’re free to explore and change roles anytime.

You may want to change your role if:

• Your interests or availability have changed
• You want to explore a different type of volunteering
• You’d like to receive recommendations for other roles

Option 1: Retake the Volunteer Quiz to update your answers and receive a new suggested role, or

Option 2: Click on a different role and select “I’m Interested” to explore that role directly

After selecting a role you’re interested in, you’ll start receiving emails with volunteering opportunities related to that role to help you get started.
