Successful Examples – P2P in Action
Hong Kong’s most inclusive swim event, where relay teams race the clock—and each other—to see how many laps they can swim in 30 minutes, all while raising funds for Splash Foundation’s free learn-to-swim programs for adults and kids from disadvantaged communities. The event has used the P2P fundraising feature since Relay 2023, showing the charity’s strong track record in leveraging the tool year after year.
In 2024, 43 teams—consisting of swimming lovers, students, and kind-hearted supporters, including swimmers who learned to swim with Splash—took part. With changeovers every 25 or 50 meters, the relay is accessible and fun for participants of all abilities, helping break economic and cultural barriers to learning this essential life skill.
IHH SG – Cycle. For Good. Fundraising for Ride for Rations 2022
A community-driven cycling challenge supporting Singapore’s most vulnerable residents—low-income households, often living in one-room rental flats and facing daily financial and personal hardships. Funds raised provide at least 580 monthly dry food rations and 200 monthly breakfast rations, offering much-needed nourishment and easing financial strain.
Ride for Rations is an annual, long-distance, non-competitive cycling event. In 2022, 21 teams took part across both the virtual Strava edition and the Malaysia ride, with participants cycling 200km, 580km, or 1000km over September. Proceeds benefit Sunlove Abode for Intellectually Infirmed Ltd, ensuring consistent food support for those in need.
