How can I showcase a matching grant on Give.Asia?
The 1 to 1 corporate donation matching program is a powerful tool for charities, as it effectively doubles the contributions they receive from individual donors. This means that for every dollar donated by an individual, the charity receives an additional dollar from a corporate partner, significantly amplifying the total amount of support. This increased funding allows charities to enhance their programs, expand their reach, and create a more profound impact within their communities.
This feature is designed mainly for 1:1 matching, also known as dollar-for-dollar matching.

With Matchup, charities can focus more on their core missions while benefiting from increased and predictable funding.
By following these steps, you can effectively use the MatchUp feature to engage your donors, leverage corporate partnerships, and significantly boost your campaign’s success.
Important note for Tote Board matching
Tote Board recognises Give.Asia campaign links for its Enhanced Fundraising Programme. However, matching ratios, eligibility rules, and programme requirements may change from time to time.
Before setting up your campaign, please check the latest Tote Board policy and guidelines to confirm how the matching should be presented.
The Give.Asia MatchUp Grant feature is designed mainly for 1:1 matching, where every eligible donor dollar is matched with the same amount by the matching partner.
If the matching arrangement is not 1:1, we recommend that you do not use the MatchUp Grant feature. Instead, you can still host the campaign on Give.Asia and explain the matching arrangement clearly in your campaign title, campaign story, or donation appeal text, so donors understand how the matching works.
