Following a devastating fire outbreak on February 13th, 2024, Dignity Kitchen's premises suffered extensive damage, estimated at over $200,000. This unforeseen event resulted in the closure of our food court, cancellation of special needs classes, and other operational disruptions.

In response to this crisis, we launched a fundraising campaign to cover the incurred costs and support our ongoing operations. The funds raised will be allocated towards various needs, including salaries for special needs staff, compensating for lost revenue, providing free meals to local residents, and sustaining our social mission within the community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to our cause, whether through donations or spreading awareness. Thanks to your generous support, we have successfully raised S$200,000 from 1,258 givers within a remarkable 33 days.

Our story has garnered attention from prominent news outlets, including Must Share News and The Strait Times, amplifying our message and inspiring further support for our cause.
