"Until 2009, many babies were abandoned in places like garbage boxes, bathrooms and subway station lockers," Pastor Lee, founder of the Baby Box, said. 

Over 100,000 Korean babies have been abandoned due to social stigmas: born to single mothers, born with disabilities.
